As the Cricket season is now fast approaching Waresley Cricket Club in Cambridgeshire have just signed off their new fixture board proof for imminent delivery just in the nick of time.
Net practice has already begun and pitch is looking good and time now to think about those long hot summers, supping cold lagers and tucking into a splendid hamper whilst watching men in white bashing the balls into the boundaries.
Their new changeable fixture board, measures 1.7m x 1.2m. Produced from 3mm dibond aluminium has 6 lines of changeable plastic letters, allowing the club to promote both forthcoming games, but also news, events and general information to both members and visitors. Positioned on the edge of the ground next to a stony entrance drive, all drivers have to past by it (at less than 5 miles an hour!), so in a perfect location to grab everyone attention. LPm 22 letter tiles have been used for the main part of the sign board, whilst the smaller LPm 33 has been used for additional information below it.
From sign off of proof, the club will only have to wait around 7 to 10 days til it arrives. Once on site, the whole fixture board is pre assembled with tamper proof screens and security fixings all in place to protect it from both the weather and wandering hands wishing to play countdown’s conundrum!! This picture shows our unique ‘instu proofing’. Pretty close we thing to the final sign!
All they will need to do is drill it into the sign board on posts which was pre arranged and carried out by members with the basic handy man skills required.
Good luck Waresley Cricket Club for the 2018 season.
