A Frames with Changeable Letters.

When considering  A frames with changeable letters to go outside on the pavement of your premises, you will need to think about the environment around the signage.  Is there a high chance it is in a vulnerable location? Is the A frame liable to get blown around by the wind? Or maybe the A frame is sheltered and tucked away from straying hands? Either way, you can choose one or two track types.

Tracking for A frames with Changeable Letters

Either a single letter track type or a double letter track type.  The single type simply allows the letter to sit inside of the tracks capacity. The letter is simply ‘pinged into place’. With the double track type, a second groove is offered which you can use slide a piece of clear 3 mm perspex into position. This means that the letter is not interfered with when sliding the perspex across the letters. With the perspex shield now in place you have a certain amount of protection from UV damage, straying hands and from the wind and rain.

Which A Frame Type to Choose.

There is an abundance of A Frames to choose from on the market off course. It is recommended that you choose an A Frame for your changeable letters that is made from metal and not plastic. These are heavier in weight and more resilient. Furthermore, a metal A Frame allows you to rivet the tracking into position after you have attached them. The tracking will appear highly adhesive at first.  However, once the weather gets to work, it will not be long before the glue starts to erode away. For riveting we would suggest a ‘pop rivet’ gun. If you are not able to access one, you can try our workshop glue. If creating A Frames with changeable letters indoors, there will be no need for riveting.

Kits for A Frames with Changeable Letters.

We have specifically produced 2 ‘bundles’ for A frames with Changeable letters. The kit contains enough tracking to be placed on both sides of the A frame. The kit for A frames with changeable letters is based on a standard A Frame measuring 841mm x 594mm. This size is more commonly known as A1 size. The two bundles are either LPm 22 size or LPm 15 size. When deciding which bundle remember that LPM stands for letter per metre. The smaller the ‘LPm’ reference the larger the letter tile.
