Once your board has arrived and you have received your letter packs and channels it’s time to get down to the final assembly. As this point you need to be thinking about additional fixings. The self adhesive glue on the reserve of the letter channels will not be sufficient for outdoor use. Possible options for additional fixings are screws and rivets. There are also some very strong self adhesive tapes available. These are referred to as UHB tapes which are used extensively by signmakers throughout the UK and can be suitable for outdoor use. Spend a while reseraching which option is going to be best for you. Try various options first before you proceed. To get channels correct distance apart refer to cardboard template supplied with your letters.
