By 7th October 2016March 1st, 2017fresh news

Just putting final touches together for Tunnel 267’s internal signage, using off course our unique american style sliding letter and tracking.

The Owner of ‘Tunnel’ Richard Amon, says: Had a simple brief for readerboards, to create an authentic American Sign system, that not only had nostalgia and high visual impact, but was also a working sign, able to change weekly and promote our new A list of Music and Comedy.’ Readerboards was off course the perfect match and the finished product is going to look superb, unique, but importantly able for the club’s guests to share on their social media sites by zapping it with their smartphones and instantly share what’s going on!

The project including, design, printing and installation took around 2 weeks to complete in total. Frank Golden, Readerboards KingPin adds. ‘Richard was very clear on what he wanted in our initial meeting, making this a very enjoyable project to work on. Our inspirations came from a Minnesota Cinema Hall we found in the archives, build in the 1940’s void of a lot of the graphic bells and whistles which were popular then. Our own font was again used ‘lighthouse’ which fits beautifully in with the whole theme.

Once up I am sure this is going to be a great asset to Richard and his team at Tunnel 267.’

The project includes 2 x 2.5m readerboards displaying three tracks of letters each, allowing at least 44 characters per channel! The signs will get maximum exposure above 2 of his recently refurbished bars. With this is mind the signs also carry significant ‘point of sale’ importance, so the signs were both finished off with a call to action on drink promotions.
